I don't want to turn it public, since I dont have that right. Before I start my mini review, let me say this: I'm PISSED with Peavey! Peavey isn’t new to the mini head game. PIs that aren't going into distortion are handled fine by a tube or a transistor with no real difference in sound. Peavey 6505 MH is a popular and one of the most expensive options. If a MC5 sounds like a Plexi then I guess a 6505MH can sound like a 6505+ as well. Im sorry but what did you expect from a micro head? 1st November 2016. I've asked Peavey for it. This summer I acquired a 6505MH. This amps says in the front panel "All tube guitar amplifier" but the thing is, this amp uses OP AMPS and TRANSISTORS in the signal flow, and it afects the overall tone! It's in the top 3 bestselling guitar amps and has a couple of popular alternatives in the same price range, such as Behringer Ultracoustic ACX900 or Boss Acs-pro.. Peavey 6505 MH was released last year in December. Peavey 6505+ Although the 5150-III has been launched under the EVH brand, this is the latest version of the Peavey-made forebear. It wasn't me to brought the word "plexi " into this thread! I was just thinking the same thing re: a schemtic. Peavey’s 6505 MH is one of the newest members of the “baby metal amp” tribe. The 6505 MH Mini Head has two channels that follow the same gain structure and voicing of its big brother! They are not meant for anything but bedroom volumes.
