We're very happy to have Cinema within walking distance (though it's minutes from Stiglmaierplatz U-bahn station) as it shows movies in original language (usually meaning English) every day. But I also believe it is one of the few (if any) theaters that plays movies (mostly blockbusters) in its (English) original version, so I'm willing to plan accordingly. 31 Tel. There is also a balcony that costs a few euros extra. The staff are usually super friendly and all speak English, but the cinema itself is small (only one theatre!) I recommend buying tickets on the balcony, as the view and seats are definitely better there. Don't expect to get a seat a few minutes before a movie starts. Still, what the venue lacks in magnificence, it mostly makes up for in charm - and they sell the most satisfying salty, buttery popcorn at the concession stand.The other reason I can't express more enthusiasm for this cute cinema is its pricing & policies; I'm not sure whether it's a decision made by management, but paying a booking fee per ticket (rather than per purchase) online is totally ridiculous, and inflates the already extra-expensive online prices. * Movie options: I think Cinema plays one movie at a time, so we do lose some flexibility here.
