This album is a 2011 reissue on black vinyl with a printed fold out insert, pressed in Europe via Reprise Records. This is one of “The Captain's” all-time favourite albums and captures the band members personal relationship emotions and struggles at that time, in the song writing and performances on this album.

I wish I had looked for an original pressing or at least a better reissue. It has featured in several publications' lists of the best albums of both the 1970s and of all time.

‘Planets Of The Universe’ Rumours is the eleventh studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, originally released in February 1977 via Warner Bros. Records. OK enough to listen to, but boy howdy this pressing is mastered so dryly that listening to it is actually making me thirsty. ‘You Make Loving Fun’

These are 140g vinyl pres ‘Silver Springs’, Disc 2: ‘Live, 1977 “Rumours” World Tour’, ‘Intro’ Tracklist Fleetwood Mac‘s classic 1977 album Rumours will be reissued on 28 January 2013 (29 Jan for North America and Canada) as a lavish six-disc super deluxe edition box set.. ‘Don’t Stop’ A5 Go Your Own Way 3:40 Althought it’s being trumpeted as a 35th anniversary reissue, the expanded edition will come out 36 years after the record was originally released. That unique blend of heavy and playful, mystical and muscular—it was never as potent as it was on Rumours. Everything just sounds flat. The most revelatory moment is the “acoustic duet” version of “Never Going Back Again,” which is hardly a “duet” since it features brushed drums, congas, piano, a delayed lead guitar figure and three-part vocal harmonies. Country: Europe ‘Second Hand News’ Recorded during 1976 at The Record Plant in Sausalito, California, and produced by the band with Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut, Rumours was both a critical and commercial success. But they’re still marvelous: Stevie Nicks ballad “Silver Springs” is the most transcendent b-side ever recorded; Fleetwood Mac were so on fire during this fertile stretch that they didn’t even bother tacking it on to the actual album. ‘Never Going Back Again’ (Instrumental), ‘Second Hand News’

 ‘Gold Dust Woman’ Great album, however this version is compressed and is no substitute for the original from 1977, the original I got cheaper in near mint condition as well, so go pick up the original instead, you save money and get better quality of a fantastic album which I rated 8.5-9/10 on the music, lyrics, structure and flow of the album. ‘You Make Loving Fun’ Having looked at some of the reviews for this version, I was wondering if I had selected the correct release for my collection.
